A Golden Engagement Session on the Beach at Cape Charles, VA

Cierra and Charles are engaged and have 3 beautiful kids together. We all got to play on the beach! The sun was golden but the sand was cold and the water was frigid. They drove 6 hours to come and see me and braved the cold. Cierra was glowing in her dress that mirrored the sun with her best friend along side her. Charles brought all the laughs and seeing them together was so cute. Their kids loved exploring the beach while Cierra and Charles got to dance in the sand and love on each other. I love seeing their happiness and chemistry together. This golden sunset session is definitely one for the books, Cape Charles never disappoints. The “California Love” vibe I was getting from this whole shoot was perfect for these two.
I love that Charles has an engagement ring as well. Seeing that men are starting to wear engagement rings also is awesome! It’s in the right steps towards the commitment of marriage. The men get some bling to show off too and its like practice for wearing and keeping track of your wedding band. This is the second engagement session I have had this year where the man has an engagement ring too. LOVE IT!! I hope this is a trend that sticks around.
