I am ecstatic to be bringing back the Mermaid Series!!!!! It was something I started when Michael and I were living in Virginia Beach. See Part 1 (Land Girl Longing For The Sea) & Part 2 (A Southern Pod Proposal) on the blog too. When Michael and I moved back to Northern Virginia, I thought it was something that was going to be dormant until we moved to Florida later in life. Turns out there are PLENTY of Mermaids & Mermen in DC/MD/VA area! Jacob (Mornenion), actually messaged me while I was shopping for a TV at Best Buy. He had apparently just left Best Buy and saw all the mermaid stickers on my car and my photography insta on the side and thought I was a Mermaid that he didn’t know about. Sadly, I am not a mermaid…yet. But, he was excited to know I was a Mermaid photographer. I told him about The Mermaid Series blog and he already had ideas out the gate. Will is a new merman to the community and is waiting to get his tale. He is a health coach and a park ranger. He loves and appreciates the outdoors. Jacob thought he would be perfect for this shoot. These friends were such troopers playing lovers. Along with telling stories and fun, the point of this whole series is to raise awareness for Ocean Conservation & Marine Life Conservation. Jacob actually is a rep for 4Ocean. Now, for the story…..

Mornenion (Jacob) came to land to sun himself on the beach in a hidden cove. Will found himself wondering in the woods, stumbling upon the cove and discovering Mornenion. They both spot each other and the chemistry bubbles. They are are caught in a whirl wind romance. Tempting each other with Fate. It is not long before Mornenion returns to the sea, and Will to the land; knowing they will never see each other again….or will they?
