An Elegant July Wedding with a Nautical Send Off at Gala 417 in Virginia Beach, VA

NiJa & Dionte had a luxurious indoor ceremony and lively reception at Gala 417 this past July. With buckets of rain in the morning of many years of good luck, these two had beautiful weather the entire afternoon, which was perfect because they had surprise send off that their friend had arranged!
NiJa & Dionte met at work several years ago. They have a beautiful daughter who was the sweetest flower girl! I had the honor of capturing their engagement session earlier this year and they completely knocked my socks off then too. See their engagement session HERE.

NiJa got ready in Gala 417’s Bridal Suite while Dionte got ready and hung out in the Groom’s Suite, fully equipped with TV, Games and a mini fridge! They had their first look down the aisle and shared personal vows through tear filled eyes. The guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on The Terrace while I got to sneak them away for photos! During dinner their family and their friends took turns giving speeches and advice to them before going WILD on the dance floor. With only a half hour before the party was over, NiJa’s friend pulled them aside and a boat captain walked in with some luggage to take them on a ride!
