Colleen & Chris | Engagements

Randolph Macon College Campus | Ashland, Virginia | July 12, 2021

I am starting this post off by saying… I LOVE that my couples bring their pets to their engagement sessions and involve them in their weddings! Colleen and Chris showed up with their little pup Vienna – like Vienna sausage!! This is extra funny to me because not only are they both chefs, but Vienna is a wiener dog! – I know – I am ridiculous! It was just hilariously cute to me! Colleen is also a photographer, and I feel so HONORED that she asked me to be her wedding photographer!!!

Colleen & Chris are getting married in March of 2022 and we could not be more excited!!! I heard a whisper that their venue has COWS that we will be able to feature in the portraits with them… and if you know anything about me and animals…. I COULDN’T BE MORE EXCITED to work with cows on their wedding day too!! Her engagement ring was passed down in Chris’s family, and it is GORGEOUS!

The weather the evening of their engagement session was nice and the light was even better. The Randolph Macon College was absolutely beautiful and is actually where Colleen actually works! The fluffy pink flower tree, the beautiful fountain, large white pillars, lush green grass, and twinkley storefront lights were giving me true Summer Romance vibes! So many new favorites from this session!

I don’t normally do all of my favorites at once or all at the end – but these few truly ALL are my favorites!!
