I met Adwoa in high school, she was a grade or 2 behind me. When she told me her family wanted to do photos, I was so excited! Adwoa was one of my very first sessions when I was first starting out! When her whole family showed up in traditional Ghanian attire…I may have done a happy dance!!!! Over here at KLP, we love to celebrate diversity and other cultures. Growing up I was fascinated with other cultures. So, I was so excited to hear about their traditions! They taught me a little bit of Ghanian culture! I learned about their weddings, which sounds like multiple days of a FUN TIME!!!And some traditions involved in the weddings and proposals go, also that most married couples wore matching outfits, like you’ll see her parents wearing in some of my favorites below! I cannot believe that this is the 3rd session I have had, that this was their first time getting photos taken together!!! I feel EXTREMELY honored that they chose me.
