I have written and rewritten this blog so many times, trying to find the right words…

Christen is a dear friend of ours, her husband Mike, was one of my husbands best friends. In early 2019 I took their engagement photos in Luray, Virginia. You can see the engagement session HERE. But, in 2021 we lost Mike suddenly to a heart attack. He knew about his twin rainbow babies, for a few weeks before God called him home. With the help of my friend Kaitlyn, at Craftysaurous Family, I was able to keep Mikes presence there, because…we know he was there with us! Christen took us to a spot near their property that her and Mike would walk to and escape. They would go fishing and hang out there. I am truly honored that Christen brought me there to capture a HUGE milestone in the place her and her late husband loved to be.

I had to keep this session a secret until the BOYS were born and Christen shared the news! Christen texted me last weekend and …….They are HERE!!!!!!!!

Michael Joseph & William Issac Loy made their appearances Thursday March 3, 2022 at 8PM. They are in the NICU for a little while so they can get a little stronger, but they are healthy and growing by the minute! Here are my favorites from Christen’s Maternity Session.

Christen is a 3rd generation contractor and I am LOVING that she is channeling her inner Joanna Gains in these overalls and Mike’s Camo Crocs!

Fun Fact: Michael and Arielle came to this session. I told her to look at Michael and for Michael to make her laugh. He said he couldn’t he didn’t have any keys to jingle. Which in turn, made her laugh and gave us this beautiful black and white.
