Happy Thursday Friends!
Before I hop into todays blog topic I wanted to announce to my industry friends that I have a surprise!! Stick around till the end of the blog to find out! Today I wanted to share about a trend that isn’t very popular anymore, but I love so much, and I think its very important. Bridal Portraits. I always suggest them to my brides and to do them at their venue prior to their wedding day. And here is why:
- Timeline | On a wedding day there is a timeline that everyone sticks to because there is so much going on and so much to prepare for the ceremony that there isn’t really any time to add in Bridals
- People | There is so many people involved and attending a wedding and they are EVERYWHERE! They could potentially walk into photos and distractions to the Bride.
- Nerves | Most brides are excited and anxious to see their husbands to be & get married – and it shows in your photos. For getting ready and pre ceremony photos those emotions are perfect and beautiful. But for formal bridal portraits you’ll want to look relaxed.
- Practice | As silly as it sounds it’s a good idea to practice getting in and taking off your wedding dress! Also walking in your wedding shoes around your venue will help break them in so you’ll have less pain and blisters on your big day! I think its also a good way to confirm that you really want your wedding hair and make up the way you planned it.
- More Time | I touched on this in the first section but I wanted to go a little deeper. Your Bridal Session day is all about you, your dress and feeling relaxed and beautiful! I am also able to grab more detail shots of your jewelry, dress, veil, shoes and engagement ring.
- Exploring | Being able to explore and walk around the venue to find excellent light, and locations for your bridal portraits is so much fun! But it makes it easy to know where to take you & your fiancé for your formal wedding photos on your big day!!
- Relationship | This is my favorite reason! This gives us more time together! We get to know each other more, and you get more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera.
Kristina’s Bridal session has become an all time favorite of mine. Here are some of my favorites:
